Trends in the Transport Sector
The International Transport Forum publication 'Trends in the Transport Sector' analyses global statistical data on passenger and freight movements for all modes. The statistics in the detailed tables refer to the last year for which comprehensive data is available.
Data is mainly collected through a targeted survey. Data is available week 48 each year. The publication is published in May each year.

    New data series on rail and maritime container transport (TEU and thousand tons). Maritime containers data refer to containers loaded and unloaded in sea ports.
